Taken at 3:54pm on 7 May 2007. On a visit to Granite Gorge, near Walkamin in north Queensland. On the way out, an almost new camera and lenses, this fly sitting in the sunshine on the face of the leaf, the desire to experiment and with an opportunity to concentrate on my favourite style of photography - minimalist. This fly appeared to have no idea that I was there and remained stationary the entire period I snapped a variety of photos - the hardest part was catching a moment when the leaf was still in the strong breeze.
